Bio
Miss Selina Dadzie is a graduate student in Statistics at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, where she is pursuing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Statistics. Her research focuses on “Optimal Model Selection for Incidence of Birth Asphyxia: NICU Centers in Accra”, with particular emphasis on count data regression models and neonatal health outcomes.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Cape Coast and has developed strong research interests in biostatistics, epidemiology, generalized linear models, and health data analytics. Her current work evaluates the performance of Poisson and Quasi-Poisson regression models in modelling neonatal mortality, with the aim of improving evidence-based decision-making in healthcare.
Beyond her research, Miss Dadzie is passionate about applying statistical methods to solve real-world public health challenges.
