About me
Professor at the Department of Biostatistics and Data Science. Dr. Pérez is engaged in a wide range of research projects: theoretical model evaluation accounting for imputation uncertainty; fitting complex data; analysis of cluster-randomized community trials; clinical trials; analysis of food intake involving measurement error; tobacco regulatory science; and implementation science. Dr. Pérez has expertise in conducting and disseminating research findings from youth and adults, as well as developing new statistical methodologies. She has completed and disseminated the results of several NIH grants. Dr. Pérez has over 150 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Pérez is an active member of the International Biometric Society (IBS) and the American Statistical Association (ASA). She was the elected president of the Central American and Caribbean Region (RCAC) of IBS. Currently, Dr. Pérez serves as the representative council for RCAC IBS and chair of Inter-Region/Network Funding Task Force.
