About me
Anna Kye is a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Irvine, with appointments at the Postsecondary Education Research Institute and the Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation. She holds a Ph.D. in Research Methodology (Quantitative) from Loyola University Chicago and an M.S. in Statistics from UMass Amherst. Her research applies cluster analysis, machine learning, and regression modeling to equity and faculty productivity in higher education. Her dissertation, awarded with distinction, compared four machine learning algorithms for college enrollment prediction using data from over 108,000 students. Prior to her postdoc, she spent seven years as an enrollment research analyst at Loyola University Chicago. One of her studies has been featured in FutureEd's Top 10 Research Notes of 2025. She has presented her research at JSM, WSDS, and AERA. She is a member of the American Statistical Association and the Caucus for Women in Statistics.
