Dr. Christian E. Douglas is a Senior Research Statistician at RTI International with more than 14 years of experience supporting clinical trials and large-scale observational studies. Her expertise includes longitudinal data analysis, adaptive trial design, power and sample size estimation, and statistical programming in SAS and R. Since 2021, she has served as Project Director for the NIH ECHO Data Analysis Center, leading biospecimen data management, public-use dataset development, and statistical analyses for a national longitudinal cohort study of child health and development. She has led statistical efforts for federally funded clinical trials, including the ACTIV-5 BET COVID-19 trial and the RECOVER-LC Long COVID trial. Dr. Douglas earned her PhD in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and focuses on advancing public health through rigorous, collaborative statistical science.
