Conceição Amado is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. She is a researcher at the Center for Computational and Stochastic Mathematics (CEMAT) and serves as co-coordinator of the M.Sc. in Data Science and Engineering and the Ph.D. in Statistics and Data Mathematics. Her research interests include robust multivariate analysis and statistical methods for data mining, encompassing both methodological developments and practical applications, particularly in complex and high-dimensional data settings. She has been involved in several national and international research projects.
