She is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, specializing in econometric theory. Her research focuses on developing improved methods of statistical inference for evaluating the causal effects of policy interventions using both experimental and observational data. Much of her recent research centers on permutation tests and other resampling-based methods for causal inference.
