International Day Of Women in Statistics and Data Science

Jayamini Liyanage is a final-year Biostatistics PhD student at La Trobe University, Melbourne, where her research focuses on developing multivariate meta-analysis methods for analysing high-dimensional biological data. She has published statistical methods and developed an R package to support evidence synthesis for high-dimensional data and has presented her work at multiple conferences and events. Alongside her research, Jayamini actively engages with the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences community at La Trobe University and works as a casual academic. She is passionate about making statistics more accessible and encouraging greater participation and belonging in STEM fields.
