Jessica Utts is Professor Emerita of Statistics at the University of California, Irvine, where she served as department chair for 5 years. She has held numerous leadership roles in statistics organizations including as President of ASA, the Caucus for Women in Statistics, and WNAR; Chair of the Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies (COPSS); Vice President of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) and of the International Association for Statistics Education (IASE), and numerous others. Before moving to UC Irvine, she spent three decades at UC Davis, where she served a term as the Associate Vice Provost for University Outreach.
