About me
Lucine Kalantaryan is the Head of the Labor Statistics Division and Gender Statistics Focal Point at the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT), where she has coordinated the production and development of official statistics since 2002. An economist by training, she has over 25 years of experience in labor market statistics alongside more than a decade of expertise in gender statistics integrating data across sectors to measure gender inequalities and provide evidence that informs policy. She manages the implementation of multiple large-scale household and thematic surveys. Throughout her career, she has served as Deputy Project Director and Survey Methodologist on national and international initiatives, collaborating closely with the ILO, UN Women, the World Bank, GIZ, and the IOM. She has been a guest lecturer at the Armenian State University of Economics and contributes to international statistical capacity-building. Since 2025 Lucine is member of the DFCoP.
