Dr. Louisa Muparuri is an AI researcher, ICT executive, and digital transformation leader with expertise in artificial intelligence, data science, mathematical modelling, computing, examination systems, and public-sector innovation. She holds a PhD in Mathematics, an MSc in Operations Research and Statistics, an MBA, a BSc Honours degree in Computer Science, an Honours qualification in Data Science and Machine Learning and several industry professional certifications from Microsoft, Oracle and Google. She serves as Director of ICT and Examination Systems Development at the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council, where she leads the modernisation of national assessment platforms. Her research focuses on AI-assisted assessment, trustworthy AI, and scalable digital solutions for low-resource education systems in Africa.
