About me
Lu (Maggie) Qian is an independent biostatistician and founder of Evidence in the Wild and Zetyra. She has submitted FDA comment letters on the 2026 draft Bayesian guidance and publishes the Evidence in the Wild essay series on Bayesian methods in clinical research; her writing has appeared in Significance. Her current collaboration with Robert A. J. Matthews develops fair-minded skeptical priors and reverse-Bayes regulatory diagnostics for Bayesian assessment of novel therapies.
