About me
Dr Melissa Middleton is an early-career biostatistician at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Melbourne. Her work methodological work focuses on missing data methods and adaptive platform trial design, alongside her collaborative work in clinical trials and observational studies of premature infants. Melissa is actively involved in the statistical community through leadership roles in the SSAs Early-Career and Student Statisticians Network and the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics Early Career Subcommittee, where she helped establish an international mentorship program. She is passionate about collaborative research, mentorship, and strengthening the role and voice of statisticians in interdisciplinary health research.
