About me
Mina Norouzirad is an Assistant Researcher in Statistics at the Department of Mathematics and the Center for Mathematics and Applications (NOVA Math), NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University Lisbon, Portugal. She is also Co-Coordinator of the Data Science Thematic Line at NOVA Math. Her research focuses on statistical learning, shrinkage and penalized estimation, high-dimensional data analysis, and biomedical applications. She is the author of Rank-Based Methods for Shrinkage and Selection with Application to Machine Learning and co-editor of Advances in Shrinkage and Penalized Estimation Strategies. She has also contributed book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, and R software packages, combining methodological research with reproducible computational tools. She is active in scientific service and event organization.
